Roof Drains
and 09 November 02 Update

The roof drainage work begins with pouring water on the roof to see where it wants to drain off the west side.

Then we marked the low spots where 2" drain pipes would be connected to a 4" collector pipe that would feed into a 4" down pipe

The lengths of the connecting pipes are cut to allow the 4" collector to slope down toward the main down pipe.

The finished system hanging on the side of the south building.  After the stucco and paint have been applied, maybe the drain won't be so obvious.

Roof-side view of one of the drain pipes.

We got the air conditioning ducts installed in the south building.  The register grilles will be installed after the plaster is applied and painted.

The swamp coolers will come later after the roof has been sealed.

Rúbin is learning to carry the concrete bucket on his head.  No hands-free yet, but no spills either.

Next week the plaster guys start in the south building.
