Pampas do Brasil another Sunday lunch with my English students This is an all-you-can-eat Brazilin steak house with a novel way of serving the meat. There were 14 offerings of beef, pork. chicken, turkey and sausage. Waiters were buzzing around with skewers of meat offering us more meat faster than we could eat. The serving sizes were small -- no more than 3 or 4 bites, which was just right to allow us to try everything with as many repeats as we wanted. We waddled out very full. The total tab for 5 of us with tip was $1,200 pesos = about $100 dollars. Free off-street valet parking. |

They let me go into the kitchen to take pictures. The meat is cooked over a charcoal fire, then the skewers are held in this warming rack until needed. There was nothing being cooked at the time I was there. Judging by the size of the crowd when we left, I'm sure more meat would be cooking soon. |
